What is a "lookback"?
Freespee offers a lookback feature to ensure repeating callers connect with the right business when using a dynamic number they have called before. This way, even if the number has already been reused by someone else or if the number has organically expired, Freespee will connect the caller with the same people they talked with in the past.
Why do we have a lookback?
Sometimes one phone call is not enough and people will call a number a few times before completing their business. Freespee uses telephone numbers dynamically so when a call comes in again to a number from a repeating caller, within a reasonable period of time, it's very likely they are trying to talk to the same company they interacted with in the past.
How does it work?
Every time someone calls a Freespee dynamic number, we record the details of such call and all parameters associated with it, including the calling and freespee numbers. If the same caller dials the same Freespee dynamic number again in the coming weeks, Freespee will remember the original details of the call even if the number is no longer active or used elsewhere.
